In order to assist patients with Alzheimer’s disease, a charity sale of the famous posters of the Côte d’Azur artist, Eric Garence, will take place from January 12 to February 12, 2021. The proceeds will go to the Alzheimer Innovation Association.
The Côte d’Azur artist Eric Garence is mobilizing for a good cause. Official illustrator for the brand Côte d’Azur France, he has been creating numerous illustrations of mythical places since 2016, whose style recalls the original posters of yesteryear. For their symbols, patterns, and colors, Professor Robert, a psychiatrist at the Claude Pompidou Institute in Nice, uses a dozen of these vintage creations as an innovative non-drug treatment solution for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
“The societal role of the artist is, in my opinion, essential. Exhibiting my works within the Claude Pompidou Institute, for families, professionals but especially patients with the hope of rekindling their memories is for me the opportunity to make a modest contribution to this essential research for the future of mankind“, explains Eric Garence.
Having decided to donate a new series of posters, Eric Garence wishes to continue his contribution with a charity sale of those decorating the corridors of the Claude Pompidou Institute until now. These posters of the towns of the department 06, signed by the artist, will be sold in a 70 cm x 100 cm format for the price of 60 euros each.
All proceeds will be entirely donated to the Alzheimer Innovation Association, which undertakes numerous actions for research and family support. The entirety of the collected profits will be used to further research on motivation and memory disorders.
