Pierre Bello of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painters, born without arms and with only one leg, will exhibit some of his works that he painted with his mouth or foot at the Russian Red Cross Nursing Home.
The artist, with the mentality of a champion, broke 4 world records swimming on his back and won 4 gold medals at the Paralympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, followed by a gold medal in Atlanta in 1996.
His strength and courage earned him the National Order of Merit in 1996, awarded by Jacques Chirac, then President of the Republic.
The Russian Red Cross Nursing Home, located in the heart of Nice (34 Avenue Caravadossi), supports 87 dependent, semi-autonomous, and autonomous residents. To this end, it respects the care foundations of the “Humanitude” philosophy, namely: relational handling, understanding and preventing pathological agitation behavior, as well as living and dying standing. Making this establishment a place of life and desire is a permanent objective.
