Every year in spring, BOTOX(S) organizes its contemporary art night events, a flagship event of the Nice art scene: LES VISITEURS DU SOIR.
For 2 days, a route will weave through about thirty locations. The general public, artists, professionals, and enthusiasts come together to share the richness of contemporary and transdisciplinary artistic creation.
In the Libération district, Galerie Eva Vautier gives carte blanche to Ben, Valérie Arboireau’s apartment welcomes the Musée de Vence, artists Baptiste César, Anthea Lubat, and Christian Vialard create for Le 22, and Villa Arson presents a 48-hour showcase with Souvenir From Earth. Avenue Monplaisir opens its doors with the Maison Abandonnée [villa Cameline] featuring Frédéric Ballester, and the ballroom of villa Les Cygnes will be a stopping point for the journey of artists invited by the other house.
In the Musicians’ district and downtown, Espace GRED invites us to see its exhibition Milky Way, Conciergerie Gounod introduces a reading by Emma Laurent with Alessandro Baricco’s book “Ocean Sea,” and the WindsoR hotel hosts the Mougins Photography Museum along with artists Noël Dolla and Nicolas Rubinstein.
Also to be discovered in the streets of Old Nice and the Masséna district, the Soardi & Soardi workshop offers an exhibition by photographer Antoine Bensa, and the Condé school showcases the artistic work of its students. The New National Museum of Monaco partners with Villa Arson for a performance by Antonio Contador on the water mirror of the green corridor.
At the Port and in the Garibaldi district, Patrick Frega opens his studio with an exceptional workshop: musicians, visual artists, photographers… MAMAC organizes dance performances and tours of its exhibitions. Vigna bookstore focuses on women’s emancipation through an exhibition titled “Women’s Liberation Year Zero,” and Le Hangar Pellegrini screens short films by Héliotrope and presents a photography exhibition by Julien Sanine.
In the Eastern district, La Station inaugurates its exhibition Fabulae, and the recently established Spada workshops at the former Abattoirs open their doors. The Espace de l’Art Concret also invests the site with an exhibition by artist Julien Alins.
