With Garden Party, Sandra Lorenzi revisits the Satyricon banquet in a theatrical staging where, among anthropomorphic fetishes, sculptures of an “uncanny strangeness,” raw materials and other installation debris, grand history crosses with primitive arts, popular fictions, and ancient clichés.

The canvas will be unveiled on Tuesday, June 21 at 6:00 PM, as part of Opening on the Arts in the old village of Mougins.

These exhibitions are part of the “Contemporary Art and the Côte d’Azur – A Territory for Experimentation, 1951 – 2011” event.
