low_budget-4.jpg An awareness and training day on emergency procedures will take place at Garibaldi Square on June 18th from 2 PM. Demonstrations will be held to train the general public, and children will also be taken care of to learn these procedures from a young age.

On June 19th, at 8 PM at the Nice open-air theater, there will be a concert by the “Low Budget Men” to raise funds to finance the purchase of defibrillators, support public training, and also fund, in partnership with 20,000 Lives, a research grant on the theme of cardiac rhythm disorders.

The goal is to promote the dissemination of defibrillators in France, which are insufficient, hard to locate, and scarcely available in public places, but also to raise public awareness of emergency procedures. Twenty thousand lives could be saved every year in our country.

“Crossing Lives,” the first charity album by The Low Budget Men, was born in 2008 from cardiologist Claude Mariottini’s desire to reconnect with his rock roots. A Kinks fan, the doctor establishes himself as a natural composer, adept at simple yet impactful formulas, a talented lyricist who reveals a fine humanity in these eleven semi-autobiographical texts inspired by his professional experience.

All proceeds generated by the activities of The Low Budget Men are used to finance the purchase of cardiac defibrillators for public places.
