During his term, he succeeded in opening a “Maion de País” on Garibaldi Square in Nice to promote local production.

He is also the originator of the opening of the first bilingual Occitan Nissart/French school La Calandreta in Drap in September 2002, which continued its teaching until 2010 in Nice Ste Marguerite. The bilingual class of the Orangers school took over in September 2013.

A friend of François Fontan, he joined his Occitan Nation Party (created in Nice in 1959) and supported the Occitans of the Occitan valleys of Piedmont in their recognition of their language by the Italian state in 1999.
