The Association The 3 H – Harkis Honneur Histoire – All in the Sun of the Two Shores – Political Courage, Historical Courage, Courage of Union for the Uprooted – organizes and invites you to a large gathering on
June 5 and 6, 2010, at the garden of the Arènes de Cimiez in Nice.
This gathering is open to all, encouraging citizens to discover the culture, music, and history of repatriated French people.
Allied with associations of repatriates, it’s a program of meetings, exchanges, and the transmission of memory where artists, speakers, writers, and many others will be present in all their variety.
As Master of Ceremony, the Pieds-noirs and the Harkis will share their stories, their wounds, their hopes, but also share with all citizens their values of honor and belonging to the same community of destiny, that of a France that assumes its past, honors its heroes, and recognizes in its own, Great Men.
The work of the uprooted there was the honor of belonging to a great country, living together without hate, respecting others in their religion or culture, creating economic vitality, in short, all that France needs today. These people carry it within them.
