Organized by the Olympic and Sports Departmental Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes, in partnership with the Departmental Council and the National Sports Agency, this major free sports initiation event will be held in compliance with physical distancing measures.
Young people will be able to participate in a multitude of sports activities while adhering to health guidelines.
The main goal of the Sports Caravan is to convey the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” stand, along with various games, competitions, and activities related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The new feature will be a specific workshop on health approaches, delivered by facilitators to young children to further raise awareness about new codes to follow so that COVID-19 remains a distant memory!
The underlying theme: Sport and citizenship. Sport, through the values it transmits and its educational reach, must set an example to be followed.
Learn lifesaving techniques: Alongside the firefighters of the Alpes-Maritimes (SDIS06), learn these first aid skills that can make all the difference. (Call 112, perform CPR, use a defibrillator, apply a tourniquet…)
