The third edition of BA06 event, which took place on March 20 at the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, confirmed the role of the event as a business accelerator. The meeting allowed innovative companies, decision-makers, public/private investors, and supporters to meet in a unique location to realize business opportunities.
A hundred companies, including 45 innovative companies, participated in this third edition of the innovation market, organized at the initiative of the UPE06’s sustainable economic development commission, chaired by Georges Dao.
This year, four main categories of innovative companies were present: Industry, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), Green Tech, and Services.
The BA06 event Trophies awarded:
*Green Tech Trophy awarded to ADVANSOLAR, Julien Bischoff by Yves COSTA – Deputy Academic Delegate for Initial and Continuing Vocational Training of the Nice Rectorate and Robert ROUX – President of the Council for Sustainable and Proximity Development of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis.*
ADVANSOLAR is a leader in France in solar electric mobility. The company designs, installs, and operates solar charging stations for electric mobility services. Sunpod solar charging stations bridge the gap between building energy efficiency and sustainable mobility around buildings.
*Industry Trophy awarded to Qualisteo, Christophe ROBILLARD by Jean-Daniel Montet-JOURDRAN, sub-prefect of Alpes-Maritimes and Olivier VINCENT – OSEO.*
QUALISTEO is an eco-innovative technology startup focusing on energy management. The company designs and markets non-intrusive, patented systems for detailed electricity consumption measurement by area, device, and usage. Qualisteo’s innovation reduces the measurement cost by a factor of 10 for industrial and tertiary buildings. Users achieve savings of over 15%, with a return on investment of less than two years. With 10 awards for its innovations, the company is accelerating its international development and seeking €2M in funding.

The Quakeshare solution is the result of 30 years of experience in crisis situations in over 50 countries. Quakeshare is an application for the smartphones of the hundreds of millions living, working, or staying in seismic zones; it is also a collaborative service platform for rescue services, authorities, and companies. The goal is to provide real-time alerts, connect victims with rescue services, and prepare for emergencies.

Taodyne develops and markets Tao Presentations, the first tool for creating interactive 3D relief presentations and applications, with or without glasses, aimed at the digital communication market of events. The core of the innovation is the invention of a dynamic document description language, which plays a similar role for 3D interactive content as HTML does for web pages or PDF for documents. This same language allows for describing a 3D interactive document independently of the type of screen used. Thus, clients do not have to worry about content deployment, which can occur on both existing 2D screens and the most sophisticated glasses-free 3D screens. This technology significantly reduces costs for both creating 3D content (compared to making 3D movies or custom 3D applications) and its deployment, offering great flexibility in the choice of screens and computers and utilizing existing screens.
