The Baroque Ensemble’s season under the sign of Mythology

The new 2014-2015 season of the Ensemble Baroque de Nice will be marked by the theme of โ€œMythologies.โ€ The audience will be able to enjoy 8 concerts in two baroque churches in Vieux-Nice, Saint-Martin โ€“ Saint-Augustin and Saint-Franรงois-de-Paule. Each program will be presented twice, on Fridays at 8:30 PM and Sundays at 4:30 PM.


ensemble_baroque_de_nice.jpg During this season, the ensemble will also have the pleasure of welcoming prestigious soloists: Julie Robard-Gendre (mezzo-soprano), Jean-Christophe Maillard (musette de cour), Claire Lefilliรขtre (soprano), and Isabelle Poulenard (soprano). They will perform, alongside the Ensemble Baroque de Nice, some of the most beautiful works of the 17th and 18th centuries by Handel, Charpentier, Clรฉrambault, or Pergolesiโ€ฆ

After the opening evening on October 10 featuring Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, the season will continue as follows:
