Access to all Mediterranean arc beaches is now prohibited as part of coronavirus prevention measures, indicated the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes, because “we have found that there are too many people on the beaches.”
“Exempted outings should be brief and close to home; however, we have observed gatherings on the beaches, with some people staying for long hours,” stated Prefect Bernard Gonzales in a press release.
