A moment of recognition for Beau Rivage Beach located on the Promenade des Anglais. The prestigious Quality Tourism label has been awarded to this jewel of the coastline in the presence of Deputy Rudy Salles.
But first, what is the Quality Tourism label?
This brand was created in 2005 to reward deserving professionals working in the tourism sector. There are several criteria to meet:
Information and communication: providing clear, precise, and complete information to clients, both over the phone and on the site (signage, signs, etc.).
Personalized reception: friendliness, courtesy, warmth and smiles, availability, attention…
Staff competence: quick and comprehensive customer service, advice, research of appropriate information, proficiency in foreign languages.
Comfort of the premises: maintenance and cleanliness, vegetation and green spaces, welcoming and relaxing areas, comfortable furniture.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the premises: hygiene, good condition of various equipment (sanitary facilities, furniture, kitchens, …).
Enhancement of local resources: providing regional drinks and dishes, informing clients about the tourist attractions of the area.
A label that is difficult to obtain and a source of pride for Antoine Attia, the general manager of the beach since 2005: “This label comes at the end of a long journey that went through frustration, dreams, and finally reality. A lot has been done to achieve consistent and not fleeting quality.” It’s worth noting that the beach has come a long way. After suffering two maritime hits, Antoine Attia never gave up. His courage was highlighted by Rudy Salles: “Nice has become the benchmark for tourism, and Beau Rivage Beach is one of the jewels of Nice’s beaches. Antoine Attia was right to invest in this place.” The deputy went on to stress the importance of targeting a specific clientele for such places and the city of Nice: “Our tourism policy is not aimed at backpackers but a clientele that will provide significant financial returns.”
