On Tuesday, December 20, 2011, starting at 4:30 PM at the Christmas Village Ice Rink on Place Masséna, there will be a meeting with the skaters of the French national team followed by a gala.
In the presence of Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Côte d’Azur, Didier Gailhaguet, President of the French Ice Sports Federation, and the champions of the French skating team: Brian Joubert, Nathalie Péchelat, Fabian Bourzat, Maé-Bérénice Meite, Vanessa James, and Morgan Cipres.
Three months before the World Skating Championships, which will be held in Nice from March 26 to April 1, 2012, the champions of the French team will give the Nice public a preview of what they can admire on the ice at the Palais des Expositions.
Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Côte d’Azur, will greet the champions:
– Brian Joubert, three-time European champion and World champion, who won his 8th national title this weekend,
– Nathalie Péchalat and Fabian Bourzat, 2011 European champions and third in the 2011 World Cup Final in ice dancing,
– Maé-Bérénice Meite, 9th in the 2011 European Championships, and
– Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres, French champions.
The skaters of the French national team will answer questions from journalists before preparing for the promotional gala they will be performing at the Christmas Village ice rink on Place Masséna. They will then gladly engage in a signing session.
