Winner of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Environmental Trophies of the City of Nice, the [VIAVELO association](https://viavelo.asso-web.com/) is organizing a bike market on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Place Pierre Gautier in Nice.
An excellent initiative that will allow the many cycling enthusiasts to return to bartering and make some great deals!
Unique in its kind, this bike market aims to give a second life to bicycles stored in basements and garages so that they can find a new owner looking for an environmentally friendly means of transportation.
The concept of the event is to bring together sellers and buyers of used bikes under the guidance of volunteers from the [VIAVELO association](https://viavelo.asso-web.com/), who offer their advice on quick adjustments, operational status, and bike price evaluations…
To participate in this market, the bicycles must be dropped off in perfect working order between 9 AM and 12 PM. Sales will start from 10:30 AM until 5 PM.
Through its projects aimed at encouraging cycling through its educational and supportive repair workshops, VIAVELO adheres to the philosophy of developing environmentally friendly modes of transport.
