The blog of the European Movements, which includes PACA, Corsica, and Rhône-Alpes, has just been launched.

This initiative is part of the MEF’s action project on the theme “How to Make the European Elections More Authentically European”, which had been presented at the Autumn University in Nice on November 15 and 16 last year.
It had been specifically proposed that the ME sections group together within each euro constituency to carry out actions in the context of the upcoming elections of our European deputies. To learn more about the adopted program (1).

In the Southeast euro constituency, two actions have been decided.

1° The creation of a blog, which was launched by ME Provence. Its president, Jean VERGES, is indeed in charge of representing the sections of the constituency at the national office of the ME-F.
Its title “Euro Deputies, why?” reflects the European Movement’s desire to contribute to a better understanding of the stakes of the upcoming June 7 election.
You can visit it at the following address: https://mesudest.blog.lemonde.fr
The first contribution is a press review, which provides “An overview of the list heads in the Southeast euro constituency” (by Annie Giraud-Heraud, Member of the Executive Committee of ME Provence). To learn more (2).

2° The second action will take the form of video conferences, which will take place simultaneously in 3 hubs: Toulon, Grenoble, and Lyon on March 26 in the late afternoon. The theme will be the role and importance of the European Parliament. In Toulon, this video conference will take place at the University of South-Toulon Var, at the UFR Ingemedia; this institute is located on the La Garde campus, Building Z. The sections from the Alpes-Maritimes and Provence are invited to participate.

In the Alpes-Maritimes, we are focusing on a local approach by going out into the field to convince our fellow citizens to go vote.
