Last weekend, the national interclub division 1 finals took place at the headquarters of the French Bridge Federation (FFB) in Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine), the true Stade de France for bridge players.
The team from the Blue Bridge Club du Cannet claimed victory, surpassing the Rouge et Noir Bridge Club from Lyon and the Deauville Bridge Club.
The 6 French champions are Yves Lormant, Xavier Michaud-Larivière, Philippe Kasler, Fabien Lacroix, Bruno Lorrain, and Thierry de Mendez.
This is the very first national title won by the Blue Bridge Club. It has 350 members and a bridge school for all levels.
