The team from the Blue Bridge Club du Cannet claimed victory, surpassing the Rouge et Noir Bridge Club from Lyon and the Deauville Bridge Club.
The 6 French champions are Yves Lormant, Xavier Michaud-Larivière, Philippe Kasler, Fabien Lacroix, Bruno Lorrain, and Thierry de Mendez.
This is the very first national title won by the Blue Bridge Club. It has 350 members and a bridge school for all levels.
