In the framework of the third edition of Éclairage Public at 109, the company, accompanied by choreographer Antoine Le Menestrel, will be performing the show “Lignes de vie.” It is scheduled for this Saturday at 7 p.m.
During the artistic creation weekend “Éclairage Public,” the Compagnie Antipodes decided to invite the Compagnie des Lézards Bleus and Antoine Le Menestrel to perform the show “Lignes de vie.” This performance features five dancer-traceurs (parkour athletes) using architecture as a support for the choreography. This choice allows the audience to reflect on the marks we leave in life and the additional awareness and responsibility that may encourage. This movement of bodies at the heart of the “place” offers a different perspective and brings out the poetry it contains.
Parallel to the show, the Compagnie Antipodes and Antoine Le Menestrel are organizing an open rehearsal morning for children aged 5 to 18 on Friday, June 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The classes from the City of Nice (from kindergarten to high school) will be invited to understand and grasp this very particular way of creating choreography.
