The CAF offers its back-to-school allowance.

Latest News

The Back-to-School Allowance (Ars), given under certain income conditions, is intended for children aged 6 to 18, whether enrolled in school or in apprenticeship. This year, it amounts to โ‚ฌ272.57 * per child.

– A lower amount may be paid in cases of a slight exceedance of the income limits.

You are already a recipient of the Caf and:

– your child is aged 6 to 16? (born between January 1, 1992, and January 31, 2002): you donโ€™t need to take any action. Your Caf will automatically pay you the Ars on August 20 if you qualify for it.

– your child is aged 16 to 18? (born between September 16, 1989, and December 31, 1991): you will receive, at the end of August/early September, a situation declaration. Have it completed by your childโ€™s school and return it to your Caf after signing it. You can also send it back by attaching a school enrollment certificate. Upon receipt, your Caf will assess your right to the Ars.

You do not receive any benefits and did not benefit from the Ars last year?

You must complete a family benefits application (Situation Declaration and 2006 Income Declaration) and send it to your Caf to study your rights. These forms are available on our website nice.caf.fr
