The Cannes Jeune Ballet is a junior company composed of young dancers from all around the world; within this structure, an offshoot of the รcole Supรฉrieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower directed by รtoile Monique Loudiรจres, the artists put the finishing touches on their technique and artistic maturity before embarking on a professional life within international troupes.
The junior ballet tours all over France; on December 12, it has an appointment at Espace Magnan in Nice.
Between creations by seasoned choreographers (Master Class by Myriam Naisy) and young dancers from the Cannes Jeune Ballet CJB, and the revival of great classics, the CJB program takes us on a journey through a ballet of contemporary and classical compositions, transporting us in a single evening to different and complementary worlds: all the richness of Dance!

Master class
To the soundtrack of a Master Class by Maria Callas, the choreography is a
tribute to budding artists who confront and commit themselves. When the
curtain falls, everything is said.
In the middle of the corridor
Two in the morning! In a room, a couple argues… a simple situation. A moment
of emotion where one leaves… and the other stays.
Fantasy for Frรฉdรฉric (excerpt)
Inspired by the music of Chopin, the offbeat and fanciful performers
revisit their childhood memories and transpose them into a surreal and absurd universe.
Illusions
One night, suspended breath, the illusion of having sensed one’s death, of having felt
the beings who have left us or those who will leave us soon. But where,
when, how?
When words come to life
When words come to life, when the body expresses and utters the divine word,
I will embrace this body and lay it by my side.
Coppรฉlia, diversion from the 3rd act
Choreography by Monique Loudiรจres and Hervรฉ Dirmann
This diversion from the classical repertoire depicts the marriage of Frantz and
Swanilda in a festive and popular ambiance.
