The carnation, the symbolic flower of Nice, is celebrated in Falicon. Every year, the town receives graciously 150 bunches of 80 carnations donated by the horticulturists of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var, which are then showcased by volunteers, artists, and municipal agents…
This festival, which evolves over the years, maintains its original concept: to promote the carnation, participate in its dissemination and renown, and also to help the carnation growers in the region present their new production.
On the schedule for these two floral days: workshops for children, booths and activities, a Brazilian show, Zumba and oriental dance, a gypsy concert, country dancing… Also, there are two exhibition halls open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
And for the first time this year, the election of Miss Falicon will beautifully conclude this “Fiesta”!
