Organized for the 6th consecutive year by the Central Directorate of Entertainment and Leisure, the Castellada takes place in the gardens of the Castle Hill. Directed by the Bayreuth Silence Miranda Company, this “strolling performance” includes professional actors and musicians in period costume.
Accompanied by the actors, the audience discovers the Chรขteau de Nice through major events in its history. Comprising about ten scenes, this stroll lasts approximately two hours and covers the significant moments that have marked the history of Nice, from its Greek and Ligurian origins to the emergence of the capital of the French Riviera at the beginning of the 20th century.
Through this pleasant journey, spectators can discover the rich history of Nice, as well as the exceptional night-time panoramic view of the Bay of Angels.
