The selection to participate in the sixth season of Star Academy begins! Yes, we’re already at six! How time flies! Naturally, time keeps racing by.
Our memory is intact, and we remember the first finale in 2000 that propelled our Niçoise, Jenifer, to stardom! We also recall the flamboyant long-haired rocker from Cannes. Not to mention the little prodigy who taught us to dream. And just yesterday, Pascal, who once strummed away in the old times, performed a rock duo with our national (and Belgian) Johnny! A true rock heart…
There hasn’t been a season without a candidate from the French Riviera. Indeed, the men and women from the Azure coast have set the stage on fire at TF1 over these five seasons. It seems that the sun and the sea, sex and seashells on deserted beaches (except in summer) enable one to become Stars…
One thing is certain: each batch from Star Ac feels like the south! And the next edition will continue this tradition. Indeed, the casting for Star Academy 6 is moving to Nice on March 10th from 10 a.m. at the Best Western Hotel at 31 Promenade des Anglais. So that all these young people (and the not so young) can fulfill their dreams… Many young music and song enthusiasts admire these stars who were once nobodies, and today, they have numerous fans who adore them to death. In the meantime, they dream. Everyone has their dreams, and everyone has their destiny… But they’ve been waiting a long time in a room not black but patched with posters. This gives them the chance to ignite the fire, to fan their thirst for ideals, body and soul to hope to go there to Dammarie-les-Lys.
But attention, children, danger, do not just do anything:
Before rushing, know if you meet the selection criteria:
– Must be over 17 years old
– Free from any recording commitments
– Available for a period of 4 months by the end of the year
– Passionate about music
– Aspiring to become a star
– Not afraid to work hard and not believe that everything will just fall from the sky.
During the audition, present the following:
– An ID
– A recent photo (both portrait and full body)
– Prepare to perform 2 a capella songs of your choice in front of the judges
– Call 0 890 714 714 to know your passage number
So, when is happiness? March 10th, and hopefully, the first day of the show in September. If not selected, you must work! If it’s unfair, send an SOS from a distressed Earthling. But the essential thing is not to leave angry… The Show must go on!
Details: If you cannot travel, send a video tape (mini DV or VHS format) with the following elements:
– Introduce yourself and say in less than a minute why you should be taken into the château
– Sing a song of your choice
– You must necessarily perform one of the following 6 songs:

– “Free Minute”: You have one minute to do whatever you want. Be convincing!
– “Dance Exercise”: You must dance to the music of your choice. Let yourself go! Include a letter with your details (name, surname, address, age, profession, and phone number) and a recent photo, both portrait and full body.
