Among these recruits, Janelle Bekkering, arriving straight from Belgium and a member of the Canadian basketball team since 2004, will try to bring her experience to a particularly young team. However, the star recruit of Cavigal Nice Basket is none other than Astan Dabo, the tallest basketball player in the championship, standing at nearly 2.03 meters. Proof that much hope is placed on her, Laurence Laporte states: “she came here to have an insane season.” Sophia Enenga, European U20 champion, Isabelle Strunc, former French league 2 champion, and Shenita Landry, an American and former finalist in the Finnish Basketball League, complete a very ambitious transfer market.

The club’s project is based on training and integrating players, partly from the training center, into the first team.” After the recruits, the president highlights the quality of Cavigal’s training center. Two players, Solène Peron and Margot-Vidal-Geneve, will begin their journey with the first team.
