On Thursday, April 4, the Nice Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an event to celebrate the 2022-2023 awardees of the “Qualité Tourisme” label, honoring all those who have contributed to making the metropolis more attractive.
First of all, the “Qualité Tourisme” label was introduced in 2005. It is the only state-awarded label given to tourism professionals for a duration of five years, attesting to the quality of their hospitality and services. This involves the implementation of demanding quality procedures aimed at tourist satisfaction. The professional must achieve at least an 85% compliance rate with the criteria from the benchmark, validated by an external and independent firm.
The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur is responsible for raising awareness among and supporting local professionals in their voluntary efforts towards achieving the “Qualité Tourisme” label. This evening was organized to honor the 19 awardees in the beach restaurant, hotel-restaurant, and place of interest categories.
How the Evening Unfolded
The evening program started with the presentation of labels to the various professionals. Among these 19 professionals were 10 beaches, 3 restaurants, 5 hotel-restaurants, and 1 company visit. Notable attendees included representatives from Hotel Château de la Begude, Plage du Negresco, Ruhl Plage, Le Plongeoir, and many others. Each had the chance to deliver a speech and receive their “Qualité Tourisme” certification before moving on to the rest of the evening.
Participants in this event had the opportunity to step outside for some photos before enjoying the cocktail specially prepared for the occasion. It was a chance for these tourism professionals to exchange ideas over a drink and some appetizers.
