As part of the 5th edition of the Nice Côte d’Azur Sport Film FICTS Festival, and following the awards ceremony held on October 22 at the MAMAC Auditorium, the event continued with the Olympic footage project. This series of conferences on the values of sport is presented to the associative and educational community.
After an initial session at the AnimaNice Ariane Center on October 29, this Tuesday, the president of CDOS 06, Philippe Manassero, and the festival delegate Renato Ferrari, were present at the Alphonse Daudet College in Nice to lead the debate with the students. The aim of these meetings is to convey and share the values of Olympism. To achieve this, a film of about thirty minutes, edited by the IOC (International Olympic Committee), is shown to the students before initiating a discussion with the speakers.
Despite the context of the health crisis, other conferences are planned to take place in order to spread the Olympic spirit and more simply the values of sport, which can be particularly beneficial in this challenging period.
