The Nice Cรดte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has partnered with the Interprofessional Technical Center for Fruits and Vegetables (CTIFL) alongside its partners to organize this competition and promote the sale of fruits and vegetables in the Middle Country.
Natural, fast-moving products, synonymous with freshness and diversity, fruits and vegetables contribute to the success of points of sale, but with one condition: they must be well showcased.
An attractive presentation, a varied assortment, and clear and precise information for customers are the challenges that 93 merchants from the “Middle Country” have met by participating in the Fruit and Vegetable Display Competition.
38 municipalities (Auribeau-sur-Siagne, Bar-sur-Loup, Bendejun, Berre-les-Alpes, Blausac, Cabris, Carros, Chรขteauneuf-de-Grasse, Coarraze, La-Colle-sur-Loup, Colomars, Contes, Drap, L’Escarรจne, Gattiรจres, La Gaude, Gourdon, Grasse, Levens, Mouans-Sartoux, Opio, Peille, Peillon, Pรฉgomas, Peymeinade, Roquefort-les-Pins, La-Roquette-sur-Siagne, Le Rouret, Saint-Andrรฉ-de-la-Roche, Saint-Cรฉzaire-sur-Siagne, Saint-Jeannet, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Sospel, Le Tignet, Tourettes-Levens, Tourettes-sur-Loup, La Turbie, and Vence) will thus be represented in 5 categories:
– Market retail fruit and vegetable sellers
– Specialized retail fruit and vegetable sellers (including covered markets)
– Proximity shops with less than 400 mยฒ of sales area
– Supermarkets with 400 to 2500 mยฒ of sales area and Fresh large stores
– Hypermarkets with more than 2500 mยฒ of sales area.
