As every year, it is you who have chosen the sportswoman, the sportsman, and the para-athlete of this past sports year in Nice. Very high-level in each category with Olympic champions, World and European champions, and French champions.
Tonight from 6:30 PM, Nice sports will be in the spotlight with the 2014 Victoires du Sport, which will celebrate great champions as well as future Nice hopes who have excelled on fields, in pools, on tracks, or even on mats.
Nearly 300 Nice athletes will thus receive the Victoires du Sport medal rewarding a national or international title won during the previous season. There will be a host of French champions or French Cup winners who will accompany the 15 great champions contending for the title of “Champion of the Year.”
As every year, the show should be on point with films recounting the past sports year and some other surprises, like the identity of this year’s sponsor, which has been kept secret.
On your marks, get set…
