This Saturday at 11:30 AM, the Château de Carros will host the opening of an exhibition that will highlight professional artists established in Carros. The exhibition will be open to everyone until March 31st.
Charles Scibetta, the mayor of Carros, had a brilliant idea by showcasing the works of a selection of professional artists established in Carros. A clever way to highlight the unity and diversity of these productions, their connection to the territory and population, by fostering a fruitful dialogue between a historically rich site and the works of artists who live and work in this very place.
In doing so, this exhibition contributes to the perspective of a cultural heritage already rich in ancient, medieval, baroque, and modern traces; it demonstrates the continuity of an artistic life, extended by the works of the 20th century and contemporary pieces.
The artists exhibited: Lionel Bascoulard, Pascale Dieleman, Pascale Dupont, Daniel Fillod, Elizabeth Foyé, Dominique Landucci, Marie-Annick Radigois, Suzanna Tar, Jean Thiry and a tribute to ODV Guillonnet
