The purpose of “Le Chefs au Guidon” is to allow professionals in the restaurant industry, whether starred or not, including chefs and servers, to come together for a moment of exchange and conviviality away from the stoves.

On the occasion of this year’s Nice Carnival, “Chefs au Guidon” is dressing up under the gastronomy theme on Monday, February 24, 2014, and is hosted by the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis.

Two routes are offered to cyclists:

Route 1 – Col d’Eze: 8:30 AM
For experienced cyclists. Departure on the Promenade des Anglais.

Route 2 – Gourmet Route: 10:30 AM
A gourmet route to discover the beautiful gastronomic spots of Nice and the surroundings with some tasting stops. Departure Promenade des Anglais.

After intense efforts and tasting local products, cyclists who wish can enjoy a massage by students from the Elégance Spa Académie (47 rue Hôtel des Postes) and a meal prepared by the Michelin-starred chef of the restaurant “L’Univers” by Christian Plumail.

This day will be a moment of relaxation, letting off steam, and savoring for all lovers of sport and gastronomy.

Cyclists participating in this event can come in costume or request makeup before the 10:30 AM start. Registrations remain open until 10 AM today.

A course as sporty as it is flavorful.
