The tales and legends of Nice’s heritage are full of stories where the marvelous meets small heroes as well as great bandits on land and sea. What an exciting adventure to roam the small streets and large paths leading sometimes to Cimiez on the trail of a famous bandit about to unearth a treasure, sometimes on the port’s docks to rescue a young seer in distress, or on our shores chasing a mermaid disappearing into the blue waves. And then discover why the Bay of Angels is so named or shiver at the mention of Bramafame Tower, hideout of the bloodthirsty pirate Barbarossa… So many stories unknown to children but ready to make them dream, thrill, and travel… So many tales that may be etched in their memory until the day when, who knows… they will have the fierce desire to share them in turn.
