The City of Nice, the Lenval Foundation, and the association “Les Blouses Roses” organized a drawing contest during the summer with the hospitalized children of Lenval, for the third consecutive year.
A hundred drawings were collected thanks to Les Blouses Roses, as well as with the support of the pediatrics department and various hospital services. This year, the Houston pediatric hospital, a sister city with Nice, sent some drawings and the jury selected one which will be created and displayed alongside those of the children from Nice.
A jury (composed of Les Blouses Roses, Les Dames de Lenval, Catherine Moreau, and the department of specialized techniques of the works directorate) met at the end of September and selected 5 drawings that will be transformed into illuminated decorations.
These illuminated decorations are displayed throughout the holiday season on the Promenade du Paillon near the children’s playground.
