In partnership with OGC Nice and Cavigal, the Federation of Citizens with Muslim Sensitivity (Mosaïc) will be present on Saturday at Place Masséna. Dialogue and good humor will be on the menu.
This Saturday, July 16, 2011, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Place Masséna, the Citizen’s Flame will visit Nice for a day centered around citizenship. The program includes activities, games, debates, many prizes to be won, concerts, etc. The main attraction will be the Mosaïc citizen tent which will welcome young people eager to become aware of their future.
In partnership with OGC Nice and Cavigal, this event will be offered throughout an afternoon and evening filled with various sports and cultural activities: concerts, DJs, foot-volley exhibitions, and many prizes for all participants.
An opportunity for young people from Nice to make their voices heard through this first act of citizenship: voting.
Saturday’s program:
3:00 PM: Welcome to the Mosaïc citizen tent, Place Masséna. Invitation to cast your vote in the designated ballot boxes. Distribution of prizes.
DJ concerts and activities
5:30 PM: Foot-volley match, featuring the special participation of Éric Roy, the coach of OGC Nice.
6:00 PM: Martin Folly concert – pop, reggae (free)
8:00 PM: XY concert – alternative rock (free)
9:00 PM: Draw of the winners among the collected ballots, on the grounds of the International Open foot-volley tournament.
