As part of the operation “Terre de jeux 2024” led by the Paris 2024 organizing committee, the city of Beausoleil has just received the Terre de jeux label.
The President of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee, Philippe Manassero, presented this label to Gerard Spinelli, the Mayor of the municipality, in the presence of Gérard Destefanis, the first deputy, sports delegate, during the association day at André Vanco Stadium.
Beausoleil is the 17th municipality in the Alpes-Maritimes department to receive this distinction. “Paris 2024 aims to make the Olympic and Paralympic Games a national project. Beausoleil is rising to the challenge with the desire for a true sporting dynamic directed towards our youth, adults, and seniors,” declared Gerard Spinelli.
“Terre de jeux 2024” will give exceptional visibility to the actions that the municipality will henceforth undertake thanks to the unique spotlight of the Games.
