As part of the “National Caregivers Day” and “Blue Week,” the Health and Autonomy Directorate of the city of Nice and its Communal Center for Social Action are organizing an information day at the Saint-Roch Association House on Thursday, October 6, from 9 am to 4 pm. The morning will be dedicated to caregivers/cared-for under the guidance of the Health Directorate, while in the afternoon, volunteering will be highlighted by the CCAS.
“Caregivers of dependent seniors, you are not alone, professionals and volunteers are here to help you.” The theme of this event is perfectly summed up in its title.
In fact, health professionals, lawyers, and other association leaders will be on hand to assist caregivers of dependent seniors to answer all their questions about the daily support of a senior being cared for.
The schedule of this day, which will be divided into two parts—morning for caregivers of dependent seniors and afternoon for volunteers—includes numerous information stands (University Hospital Center, Center for Healthy Aging Prevention – IRIPS, RSI Côte d’Azur, Parkinson Group, Nice Volunteering 06, etc.), legal consultations, round tables, and film screenings about caregivers and volunteering.
