soeur_olga.jpg Philippe Pradal, who had been the administrator of the Fourneau Economique works, paid tribute to Sister Olga for her extreme dedication, and, through her, to all the discreet and devoted volunteers who work daily for the underprivileged.

Sister Olga made her first religious profession in the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity Jeanne d’Antide Thouret (La Roche sur Foron) in 1970, and since then, she has not ceased to serve: first in Switzerland, her country of origin, at La Roche, and then in Nice.

Sister Olga was involved for nearly 25 years with the underprivileged in the azure city, whether at “Regina Coeli,” the Night Shelter alongside Abbé Royal, in social services, or at the economic kitchen for over 10 years.

Patient, always attentive and available, with great kindness and care for the less fortunate among us, Sister Olga was greatly appreciated by the regulars at the Fourneau.
