Many personalities as well as members of the municipal council will be present at this celebration honoring the ten soldiers who fell in an ambush during a military operation. The city of Nice, through this mass, aims to honor the memory of Damien Buil, Kévin Chassaing, Sébastien Devez, Damien Gaillet, Nicolas Grégoire, Julien Le Pahun, Rodolphe Penon, Anthony Rivière, Alexis Taani, and Melan Baouma.
Following this mass at 5:30 PM, the people of Nice are invited to pay their final respects to these fighters at the city’s war memorial. On this occasion, Christian Estrosi will lay a wreath of flowers on behalf of the municipality to salute the courage and dedication of these soldiers who fell in battle.
