As part of “April in the Garden,” the Department of Green Spaces of the City of Nice has created an artist’s garden, paying homage to nature, the muse of many artists in the fields of literature, sculpture, painting, cinema, and photography.
This inspiring ephemeral garden has been set up since April 3rd and will remain until the end of the month at the Jardin Albert 1er. It consists of two realms that will invite you to relax and travel:
The Jardin Albert 1er in Nice taken from an aerial view
A “red garden” where there is a multitude of cacti and sculptures, a terracotta ground, celebrating passion, creation, and rebirth!
A “silent garden” that is refined, bright, and adorned with grasses and white flowers that invites you to meditation. Amidst water and mirror features and an airy and luminous vegetation.
Finally, a structure marking the main path and offering different viewpoints of the two gardens has been installed.
Visitors will be able to enjoy this outdoor promenade in peace, respecting health conditions with distancing measures and a designated circulation route to avoid any crossovers.
Come wander freely and escape in this artistic and poetic ephemeral garden until April 28, 2021.
