A brilliant idea from the Health and Autonomy Department of the city of Nice, which will see the Garibaldi Community Center transform into a health house for a day, on Friday, February 19th.
The program for this first event includes 12 screening and prevention booths (diabetes, hearing, ophthalmology, ENT, dental care, vaccinations…), a conference cycle, and the opening of prevention workshops by the Health and Autonomy Department.
This forum, which was created with the help of the French Mutual and Carsat, already has many partners such as the 06 Primary Health Insurance Fund, the CIU Health, the Alpes Maritimes Committee of the Cancer League, the Diabetes House, the Frailty Platform of the University Hospital Center of Cimiez, the LAHMESS of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, the Mutualist Opticians, Mutualist Hearing, and the Dental Health Center of the French Mutual.
This day will also mark the opening of prevention workshops organized by the City of Nice. Several themes are proposed: from memory, to adapted physical exercises, through nutrition, and a new feature this year, relaxation and breathing through sophrology. However, be aware that the number of places is limited (maximum of 15 people per workshop).
Excellent reasons, therefore, to head to the Community Center on Friday, February 19th, from 10 AM to 5 PM to review best practices to stay in good health for as long as possible!
