The OGC Nice, Rugby Nice Côte d’Azur, Nice Volley Ball, ASPTT Nice Handball, Cavigal Handball, Cavigal Nice Basket 06, Olympic Nice Natation Water Polo, Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur… So many clubs that make Nice sports shine in their respective disciplines and championships with high-level events scheduled throughout the sports year.
In order to allow the licensed members of sports associations to attend these events for free, the Mayor of Nice will make available, starting this year, tickets for local sports clubs, via the sports department.
For this, it’s simple: you just need to regularly visit the Sports Portal to know the events for which tickets will be offered and send an email to Thierry Verola (thierry.verola@ville-nice.fr) specifying the event your members wish to attend, the keyword for this event, as well as the number of tickets requested, along with the names and first names of the members wishing to attend the said event (It is important to note that a rotation system might be implemented for events where the number of tickets is limited, the association whose request is accepted cannot make another request in the chosen discipline before other associations have had the opportunity to benefit).
The first event of the season is a major match between Eric Roy’s OGC Nice and Jean Tigana’s Girondins de Bordeaux, on Sunday, September 12, 2010, at 5 PM (subject to change by the Football League) at Stade du Ray. 40 tickets are available, and the first 4 associations that respond with the keyword LIGUE1 will receive 10 tickets for this match.
Yours in sports,
Christian Estrosi
Mayor of Nice
