This Wednesday, November 10, 2010, starting at 10:30 AM at Parc Valrose, and in the presence of Jean-Marc Giaume, Municipal Councilor delegated to Historical Heritage, Language, and Niçoise Culture in the Mayor’s Office of Nice, the student welcome day will take place from 11 AM.
The city of Nice, the student federation Face 06, and CROUS de Nice, with the support of the University and all higher education institutions, are organizing a day dedicated to Niçois students. The gathering is scheduled at the heart of the Faculty of Sciences for a breakfast offered by CROUS. Students are then invited to participate in several events:
At 11 AM > departure for a discovery rally of the city of Nice. During the various stages, the 200 teams of young people will have the opportunity to learn from partners about student life (housing, transport, cultural and sports activities) and discover the most emblematic places of our city (Sainte-Réparate Cathedral, Castle Hill).
From 2 PM > opening of the “Inter Facs Nissarena Challenge” – Mediterranean Space of Acropolis. Students will defend their campuses by competing in sports jousts.
At 8:30 PM > closing evening at Acropolis, reserved for first-year students who participated in the day. During this evening, prizes will be awarded to the winners.
