Since already several seasons, OGC Nice has been strengthening its commitment to Special Olympics, the world’s largest sports organization dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities, with the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles in sight.

As part of this, OGC Nice is organizing a Unified Football Tournament on November 7th at 2 PM, bringing together young people with intellectual disabilities and young players from OGC Nice on the same team. OGC Nice is the first French football club to become a “Special Olympics Ambassador” and the main French partner of S.O.F for its football and unified football activities.

On this occasion, OGC Nice and Special Olympics are expanding their joint involvement by signing a new agreement until 2015.

Many young disabled players from the department’s specialized structures will be part of detection courses and training sessions led by OGC Nice to form the team that will represent France in red and black at the Special Olympics World Games to be held in California.

Timothée Kolodziejczak continues his commitment as a patron of Special Olympics France.
