On Tuesday, February 15, the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) hosted numerous companies focused on sustainable mobility. Becycle, Goelectrix, ADS, and Clean Energy Planet were highlighted.
“This is the third year we are organizing the Cleantuesday meetings at the CCI,” says Jean-François Agostini, Director of Business Development at the CCI. This year, the theme was sustainable mobility, in other words, ecological transport.
Cars, bicycles, buses — nowadays, many vehicles can be fitted with systems that allow them to pollute less. For example, the company Becycle run by Fabienne Bernard, which offers bicycle delivery. “We have three different bike models depending on the size of the packages. We created this company with a sporty and ecological spirit,” she confides.
Nice Commits to Sustainable Mobility
The city of Nice is committed to sustainable mobility, as it will soon become the first city in France to equip itself with electric car sharing. Indeed, starting April 4, 51 “clean” vehicles will be made available to the residents of Nice. The company Goelectrix, a distributor of electric cars, has already experimented with this.
“We installed our first electric car for sharing in Gourdon, and the mayor was so satisfied that he ordered a second one from us!” rejoices Eric Kapsky, the company president. “Sustainable mobility is part of the CCI’s objectives for businesses,” concludes Jean-François Agostini.
