This Friday, November 15, the Annual Climate Energy Plan Forum Day will also be an opportunity to present awards to municipalities, public organizations, companies, and associations.
The Climate Energy Trophies are a recognition of a strong environmental commitment to reducing energy consumption, developing renewable energies (RES), and innovations in the fields of transport, building, economic development, planning, and renewable energy.
Thus, 26 municipalities from the department, 8 public authorities or public establishments, 25 companies, and 7 associations are in the running to be awarded.
Aware of its share of responsibility and its role as a driver or lever in its territory, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes has been committed for years to a new energy policy that is more economical in fossil resources and richer in sustainable solutions.
Let us recall that the Climate Energy Plan of Alpes-Maritimes aims to reduce resident emissions by 20%, which equates to 1.5 million tons of CO2.
