Initiated by the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes and as part of its Climate Energy Plan, the Alpes-Maritimes Climate Energy Trophies aim to reward the most active players in energy policy and technological innovation.
The Climate Energy Trophies aim to raise awareness and encourage municipalities, companies, and associations in the department to commit to reducing energy consumption, developing renewable energies, and innovating in the energy sector.
To participate in the Climate Energy Trophies, candidates will have to answer a questionnaire and provide annual operating expenses showing the Energy line, to highlight the reduction in consumption. Candidates must also present their innovative projects related to energy savings and the development of renewable energies.
A jury will decide between the participants. The best among them will receive gold, silver, and bronze trophies, along with five special prizes:
• Special prize for reducing energy consumption
• Special prize for commitment to the development of renewable energies
• Special prize for development and innovation
• Special prize for the objective agreement: reduction of electricity consumption and decentralized electricity production
• Good gesture award at risk of Ecowatt© cut-off
