This coastal path, also known as the “customs officers’ path,” holds a special place in the departmental landscape of the Alpes-Maritimes. It represents a total length of 25 km along a complete coastal line of 185 km.

Along this coastal area, the Cap d’Antibes coastal path stretches over a portion of approximately 2.2 km between the Garoupe beach and the Eilenroc Villa.

The path is listed in the Departmental Plan of Walking and Hiking Routes.

In this regard, and as part of its policy of development and safety improvement of walking routes on the coastal path, the General Council has undertaken restoration work between the Garoupe beach and the Château de la Croë to enhance safety.

The damages are mainly due to the various sea storms that affect this section of the coastline.
