For the 15th consecutive year, Carrefour is partnering with the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris – Hôpitaux de France for a large-scale fundraising campaign in support of hospitalized children and adolescents. All Carrefour and Market stores are mobilized.
Carrefour is continuing its participation in this solidarity initiative by placing Pièces Jaunes donation boxes at each of its checkouts and by setting up one or two giant donation boxes in its stores.
In 2015, 9.7 tonnes of coins were collected in the stores of the brand, equivalent to an estimated amount of nearly €107,000. Between 2003 and 2015, Carrefour facilitated the collection of more than 100 tonnes of coins, equivalent to €1.1 million.
