After Limoges and Chatelet, the paintings with Quebecois accents are settling in this exceptionally charming place.
Each year, Berre-les-Alpes transforms into a “little Canadian outpost,” notes Maurice Lavagna, the mayor.
With Gรฉrard Trudel’s brushes, the fauna is revealed. With those of Micheline Hamel, the flora refreshes us. From the “spring shiver,” we are invited to the bucolic “everyday” of “a day of happiness” colored by Ginette Chavarie. With Micheline De Grรขce’s paintings, an exquisite explosion of colors dazzles us.
“This exhibition is a journey that fills us with joy. Sometimes musical with the dances of Claude Bonneau, sometimes indulgent with the cherries of Daniel Vincent, the paintings of our cousins are magnificent,” comments a visitor.
“There’s a piece of your place in our place and vice versa,” expressed the artist, Micheline De Grรขce.
The presbytery gallery is open every day from 2 PM to 7 PM.
