Organized on the sidelines of the 28th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the ephemeral exhibition “The Colors of the Sea in Art and Yacht Design” organized by interior designers Tullia and Paolo Canciani officially opened on September 26, in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Cristiano Gallo and numerous personalities (see note at the bottom of the page).
Set up in the AIAP rooms, the exhibition features a selection of paintings by 18 of the 45 artists belonging to the group of the Comité National Monégasque de l’AIAP with UNESCO. The common theme they all drew inspiration from, the sea, was also the guiding thread that made the prestigious brand ZANABONI the main protagonist of the carefully furnished spaces, imagined as areas accessible to the public invited to discreetly peer through the open windows on exclusive, luxurious apartments, perfectly in style even with the interiors of prestigious yachts. Furthermore, the entire ensemble, composed of a coordinated set of objects, furniture, paintings, and accessories transitioning from blue to turquoise up to ivory shades, is the special feature of this temporary exhibition open for free until September 30, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Standing out among everything are the sophisticated sofas and comfortable armchairs exclusively crafted by the Brianza group: “After the success achieved with the event Le Décor d’Intérieur et l’Art renaissent au Château des Terrasses, this year we chose to bring some of our finest pieces from the contemporary collection to Monaco. Placing them here, in such a refined environment, is somewhat like telling the public the mission of our company founded in 1967 thanks to my father Vittorio’s vision, the origin of this now globally known group. Besides, I can only be proud to promote, on such an occasion, our craftsmanship and capabilities—the result of Italian creativity much appreciated abroad,” states Massimo Zanaboni, general manager of the family group that, today as in the past, has the mission of creating custom furniture crafted with the collaboration of a professional team of exceptional architects and decorators.
“Receiving the full support of the AIAP, the Italian Embassy in Monaco as patronage, and Radio Monte Carlo (the event’s media partner) makes us particularly proud of the installation work carried out in these rooms granted by the AIAP for the occasion,” add Tullia and Paolo Canciani, curators of the exhibition. They continue: “For us, attention to detail, as well as the search for unique furnishings in style and form, are the hallmarks that allow us to best interpret the needs of clients looking for environments as sophisticated as they are elegant. This exhibition, like others curated by us, is an example of this.” Finally, contributing to the special ephemeral and sophisticated atmosphere of the AIAP salons were also the scented essences signed Acqua dell’Elba, an emerging Italian brand in the field of ambient perfumery.
