In the Saint-François square in Nice, passersby were urged by communist activists, this Wednesday, to sign the petition against the high cost of living.

Proposals that resonate with more and more people, according to the communist city councilor of Nice, Robert Injey:

“We have already recorded several thousand signatures for the petition. The goal is to reach about a hundred thousand by the end of the presidential campaign”. Besides the high cost of living, the PCF advocates for raising salaries and pensions.

Without necessarily working more. The departmental director of the party, Delphine Girard, criticizes Nicolas Sarkozy’s policy: “I am not convinced that increasing wages requires increasing working hours”. The President of the Republic will appreciate it.
